Can neither afford nor justify it but I want one Icon_smile

How's this for an elaborate production:

Impressive results, though.
time to sell the Sony Dave Icon_wink
That sensor size, Fuji colors/tones, and a 110mm f/2 lens? That's going to be an amazing combo.

Hoping they keep the price in line with Canon's high end DLSR and L lineup. $6-8k for the body, $2-3k for the lenses would be a pretty competitive price point.

It's not an X-Trans sensor, though, so we'll have to see what the output is like.

Did you really have to announce that and break Mic's heart?
I still have my 85L II Mic... if that's any comfort to you.

But if it was any comfort, you should know that the only pictures I've taken with it in the last 11 months have been photos of my rifle. Icon_mrgreen

you must be in mourning, I really liked my 85 Icon_frown
The 85 is my most-missed lens, for sure.
Does this mean I'm the only one left who has it?!?!
I think Dave has a couple Icon_smile
I off-loaded my 85/1.2L II when I exited the Canon system several years ago and was not at all sorry to see it go. For me, the paper thin DOF at f/1.2 was neither attractive nor very useful. If the marquee feature of the lens was not going to be used there was no point putting up with its liabilities (SLOW focusing, weight, bulk, lousy ergonomics). The much cheaper and optically brilliant Nikon 85/1.8 I owned was a much more practical and used optic.

I'm going with seasonal avatars, Martin. With Easter behind us, the bunny avatar had to go.
