Whoa! In the first post in this thread the piggie is a "she". Now she's a "he". C'mon Martin, which is it? The name Peameal isn't gender specific so that's no help.

typo Dave, she is definitely a she, i had a long day yesterday, it started out with the jerks who bought my house cramming everything in at the last minute. when they bought my house they said in writing they were lowballing based on my house needing a furnace, the home inspector apparently told them it was done and they started complaining they would have to buy a furnace Icon_rolleyes

they complained the water softner wasn't working, it wasn't even included in the sale, then they wanted my home theater as compensation, back and forth all day until we had agreed to me giving them $1500 off the purchase price to buy a furnace

then when everything seemed done, they send the amendment to include all cables from the home theater room but don't list one specific cable, these guys are really smart, next they added an owner to the title, problem being on the origional documents this new owner hasn't signed off on any of the conditions so back to the drawing board with 15 minutes left to register the deal

at 6 i was supposed to be at a high end restaurant for my birthday, my agents came for dinner and actually covered the $1500 bill, the whole night we were there they were texting documents back and forth just to close my house because we couldn't fax as it would time stamp the paperwork

also at the same time i was waiting for a reply to my house purchase, that had a few exchanges and we were receiving paperwork in the restaurants office we had commandeered, we actually ran out of paper and had to use menu paper to print out the last 3 pages but by midnight we had a signed deal

today i returned to the restaurant to give Marco the owner 500 sheets of copy paper, i'm still mentally exhausted and the thought of having a new house hasn't even sunk in yet, on monday i have to go over and bribe the tenant of the house to leave early so i can move in on time and to top things off last night the pig wasn't caged and made a mess of everything, all the cupboards were opened and shit pulled out, packed boxes were gnawed open, film negatives chewed, CD-R's scattered everywhere, a bag of ice salt spilt all over the floor, shoes chewed, she has been grounded most of the day today

First, I'm glad you survived that ordeal. I've never heard of such chaos necessary to close a deal at the last minute.

Second, if a box of my shoes got chewed up, I'd be joining Sheldon with a BLT for lunch. No doubt about it.

Third, I betcha Mike, Stu and Scott are wondering "what does a bag of ice salt look like??"

Bag of salt ice makes for great sandbag weight. At least in Canada, giving up a sandbag to free the stuck grip van is a worthy trade.

Why in the heck would anybody in California ever need 50-pounds of salt??

Learned something today. I've never been in a salt water pool. According to the intergoogle, they are becoming more prevalent. Chlorine always wreaks havoc on my hair.

No more than in seawater, and much easier on your eyes than chlorine pools. Your tears are, after all, mostly salt water.
