I find shots and lighting like this to be fascinating. Scott has posted at least one or two images where he's put a set together and lighted from multiple sources.

Mankins are lumps of cold, dead plastic. But that doesn't mean they don't turn me on.

Its a bit busy for my taste, that sort of shot works better in cine because she might actually be moving and thus keep our attention. Although it would probably have been a short shot, with a pan leading in and then a different shot, maybe a detail of her hands or face or something.

Very good control of light though, such a scene is big challenge in control and he pulled it off nicely.
